Or come to the beach and hold your class at Dawning’s Art Studio
About Dawning’s Art Studio:
In August of 2020 Dawning purchased the Gearhart property and moved her parents into the main house. Dawning and her husband began their move to the beach a few months after. Now construction is underway! The objective? To create an art studio to hold private and public painting classes for adults, which will include room for much large classes, social distancing, several murals, and a private party gathering room with an outdoor sitting area and firepit. All in addition to Dawning’s personal art studio fully equipped with a large kiln for ceramics.
The property is on the East side of Hwy 101 on Oster Rd just as you enter Gearhart from Seaside. It is tucked back on the street near the Seaside Airport. The closest neighbors are cows, they’re very sweet.
The beach is only a couple miles away from Dawning’s Art Studio, and provides miles of beach driving access with flat sand to drive on. You can drive all the up to the Wreck of the Peter Iredale at Fort Stevens State park, which is a fun photo opp (4×4 or all wheel drive suggested, but not always needed).
Dawning’s Art is very close to Seaside and the ton of food and attractions there. Cannon Beach and Astoria also have a lot going on!
