- The artwork takes 1.5-2.5 hours to create
- Up to 4 people can participate at a time, but more can come to watch or swap out people to participate
- Participants must be physically able to rake, but all are welcome to watch the process
- There are no age restrictions, but children must be supervised at all times
- Weather permitting! It cannot be raining or too windy
- Sand Raking can only be done at low tide
- Bring your drone! Drones take great images of the artwork
- We will take ground images of the final artwork to share with you
- If you would like a special message to be written in the sand to accompany your artwork, let us know and we’re happy to personalize your piece!
Sand Raking Experience

The Sand Raking Experience is a truly unique and beautiful way to spend a day at the beach. We guide you in making a large temporary art design in the sand, or you are welcome to just have us make the piece for you. We provide all tools needed.
