How does a partnership work?
Partners have 2 options
Option 1:
Dawning’s Art charges $35/person, the partner establishes the amount they would like to set above that price, and that amount goes to the partner. Some locations choose $10 over the $35, others choose $5 over, and for special events, like fundraisers, they often charge up to $25 over. Some partners provide a special discounted menu, some provide a glass of beer or wine, some give out $5 or $10 gift certificates, and some partners, like fundraisers, provide munchies and an open bar.
Both Dawning’s Art and the partner advertise events. We handle tickets, and communicate with the partner as to how many people have registered. We gives payout to the partner, in cash, paid above the $35/person the day of the event.
While our instructor is teaching they upsell menu and drink items, and this is usually where the majority of the benefit for the partner comes from. Making sure a server is checking in on the group regularly improves sales, and we announce when the server is there to help make ordering streamlines.
Option 2:
Dawning’s Art offers the option of pre-paying for events. This option leaves all the advertising, setting the price for the classes, and all ticket sales up to the Partner. We drops the per participant price to $30/person for this option. Places like golf clubs, wineries with club member events, schools, and nonprofits like to utilize this option.
Event Details:
We require a minimum of 6 participants for classes no matter the option that is chosen.
For these events we provide everything needed to paint. We can also provide tables and chairs if needed. If we’re using tables and chairs already in the establishment we make sure tables are covered.
It takes us about 45 minutes to an hour to setup for these events, and about 30 minutes afterwards to clean up. We pride ourselves on leaving spaces as nice as we found them.
We need access to water for these events. Lighting that works is needed where the event is held too.
